Of all the reviews that I've done thus far, this is one of my favorites! I was recently given the opportunity to choose a journal from the Write it Down Series, Kraft Collection at Journals Unlimited.
Before I begin, it must be said that I am a sucker for any type of journal/planner/organizer, I LOVE them! You would think that I am the most organized person in the world if you were to see my stash. But alas, that is not so. I just like the idea of being organized, haven't got the doing down yet.
Thanks to Journals Unlimited, my gardening is at least a little more organized! I chose the Gardeners Journal to review.
I am so happy with this journal! Like I said, I have so many organizers and such and they mainly go unused. This journal ONLY has spots for the things that I need so I have actually used it! Look at the pages:
The left side of the journal is a blank page for notes so that you can decide for yourself what you want to put there. The right hand side of the page has a few prompts that are relevant to this particular journal.
There is a spot at the top for the gardening season. That may seem like a small thing but for me, its one of the best things about the whole journal! There is no pressure to keep this day by day. It can be extended over the seasons.
The other entries are for the things you did in the garden like planting, weeding, feeding and such. A spot for the weather lets you keep track of that seasons' weather patterns and how your crops did. There is also a little spot at the end for critters (and/or bugs) that you saw in or around your garden.
This is a shot of the inside cover of the journal, complete with an inspirational quote!
And the quality of the journal is really great. Although spiral bound, the covers (front and back) are thick like a hard-bound book. You can tell it was made to last.
There are 71 different journals in this series, it was rather hard to pick just one! Some of the other options for journals include:
Adventure
Baby Care
Boating
Birthdays
Day Planner
Fishing
Golfing
Bucket List
Online Accounts
Really, the list goes on and on, just head over and see for yourself all of the great journals they have to offer. You can even personalize a journal or create your own!
If you haven't already noticed, I would most DEFINITELY recommend this product to ANYONE. They have something for everybody, really! Go check it out!
While you're there be sure to sign up for their email newsletter. Its sent out only once or twice a month and will have deals and coupons for journals! You can also find them on Facebook.
